GENDER LINKS
As composite group of HG, Gender Links seeks to bridge the precarious gap between childhood and adulthood – the adolescent. GLinks would espouse adolescent issues like health, lifestyle, sexuality, career, in preparing the growing person to enter the adult world with knowledge and confidence. Summer vacation camps will also be organised for JSS/SSS students and provide them with a sense of volunteerism as well as moral and socio-cultural guidance.

HEALTHY SOCIETY:
HS will target the mature and the aging in the society. Life is said begins after 40, thus like a child the way ahead is uncertain still. With our motto of ‘better shape, greater future’ we are looking at the established and therefore more sedentary persons over 40 years.We look at life issues such as:

1. What health risks pertains to me
2. How do I prepare for a healthy tomorrow?
   

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
HLS aims at changing the health fortunes of the people of Ghana by changing their lifestyle. The approach of this wing of HG is holistic and comprehensive.MOTTO: ‘fit for life, fit for business. HLS areas of operation are:

1. Operating of Health Clubs
2. Organizing road shows in health education
3. Stress audit and management
4. Well man/well woman clinics

With our motto of ‘better shape, greater future’ we are looking at the established and therefore more sedentary persons over 40 years.

ENVIROHEALTH
Envirohealth will champion environmental health issues which include sanitation, food safety and security, safe water, social housing, and road safety, deforestation and air pollution. Envirohealth will functions on these paths:

1. Establishing & Revamping schools Envirohealth Clubs in all Educational Institutions
2. Sending educational teams to market places
3. Set up an Envirohealth Information Centre
4. Mass educational campaign
5. Organise annual sanitation campaigns

REPROHEALTH
Reprohealth will concern its activities on family health, including nutrition. Basic operational pathways of Reprohealth will be:

1. Bring Reproductive Health issues to the people by serious advocacy to prevent maternal mortality
2. Create support groups for people with reproductive health problems
3. Provide Information, Education and Communications materials on Reproductive Health

HEALTHCONSULT
This is a General Health and Wellness consultancy that will look at health system appraisal and development in Ghana. Healthconsult will focus on the following:

• Consultants for General Health and Wellness programs and activities
•  Establish Hospitals, Clinics, mortuaries, and equipment advise and procurement
•  Health and Wellness equipment specifications and appraisal

HEALTH SEARCH
Healthsearch will conduct research into the multi-sectoral issues that impact adversely on health such as environment, housing, unsafe water, personal hygiene, air quality, road safety, nutrition, non-communicable diseases, physical exercises, etc. and will culminate in a monthly HEALTH WATCH magazine promoting wellness.

MENTAL HEALTH
Mental Health will advocate in the area of preventable mental illness and re-integration of recuperating mental patients and fighting stigma.
