Healthy Lifestyles Limited (HLS) is a Healthy Lifestyle advocacy and consultancy company chaired by Professor Agyeman Badu Akosa who is currently the Director General of Ghana Health Service.

HLS is a company that seeks to bring to its clients the best in health and health lifestyle related practices, in a plush and serene atmosphere.

At HLS Health Clubs HLS personalizes good health and quality life improvements through a coordinated well man / well woman doctor service that essentially is a total body check up with laboratory and where necessary x-ray support. The dietician service follows up the doctor service to tailor make a particular dietary regime to fit your lifestyle.

Exercise is on prescription. Aerobics, cardiovascular and weight bearing exercises under able supervision shall be on the menu to ensure a big bounce in the step of clients. The feel good factor is phenomenally enhanced.

Then the icing on the cake; to allow oneself to de-stressed. Various baths therapies including steam bath and sauna to be followed by a variety of massage therapies to choose and full beauty treatment comprising, facials, waxing, pedicure and manicure.

HLS Business Philosophy seeks to introduce the concept of ‘fit for life, fit for business’ (a sound mind in a sound body so to speak) to enhance greater productivity at work. Designed for corporate bodies, the campaign is to lay bare the facts of the health of Ghana and its vibrant workforce, the horrifying fallacy of good health according to the ordinary Ghanaian, and the presentation of sound healthy lifestyle doctrine to the audience. The HLS “ROAD TO GOOD HEALTH CAMPAIGN” seeks to change this horrifying statistics with its total health concept.

The second offer is an Annual Medical check-up once a year for all firms and individuals. The Annual Medicals is designed to be a standard medical check for the employer and employees to know their state of health at least once a year whether they have falling ill or not .

It is most unfortunate that Ghanaians believe they are in good health simply because they have not had the need to visit the doctor.
